Roast Potatoes

An absolute must with every roast dinner. There are many recipe variations to flavour the potatoes but im keeping this one simple. Cooking Tips: instead of using normal cooking oil, try using goose fat. Cook Time:1hr 20 mins

Cooking Ingredients: Potatoes, Peeled
Cooking Method: 1) Peel potatoes and depending on size cut each one in half and half again. Place potatoes in the saucepan and fill so water just covers them. Place on the heat and boil for about 5 minutes until just soft.
2) Drain potatoes of in a colinder, allow to cool slightly. With each potato run a fork down it making grooves.
3) Put cooking in a roasting tin and put this in the oven at around 200 degrees. Once it has achieved temperature put potatoes in and should hear them sizzle and put tray in the oven.
4) after 10 minutes turn heat down to 180 degrees and cook for a further hour or until crispy.
