Breaded Pate Mushrooms

 
The preperation on this can take a while and can get messy but its all worth while in the end.
Cooking Tips:
The basics of breadcrumbing food is pretty much the same, remember the flour soaks any moisture, the beaten egg is like a glue which helps the breadcrumbs stick.

Cooking Ingredients:
1 Egg Beaten
Seasoned Flour
Mushrooms, they need to be fairly big ones.
Brussels Pate
Bread
Parsley
Pate
Garlic Mayonnaise:
3 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Garlic Clove, pureed


Cooking Method:
1) If you have one of those handy food processors put some bread and chopped parsley in and turn it on until you achieve small breadcrumbs, pour this onto a plate. Beat 1 egg in a bowl and pour some flour on another plate and season with some salt and pepper.
2) Fill the underneath of each mushroom with pate and set aside until all are done.
3) Place each mushroom into the flour and get a covering, next put each one into the bowl and cover with beaten egg. Once done transfer to the plate of breadcrumbs and cover the mushrooms with it. Once they are all done place in fridge for about 30 minutes just to firm up a bit.
4) Mix garlic and Mayonnaise and put into a small pot.
5) Heat deep fat fryer to 180 degrees and place each mushroom in and cook until nicely browned, then serve.
